Stamsund - Lofoten: Welcome to the Lofoten Islands. Here you can find the combination of rough seas, steep alpine mountains, white beaches with crystal clear water and small relaxing fishing villages. Lofoten is located as a wall towards the Norwegian Sea north of the Arctic Circle. Here you can experience unforgettable nature and choose the size of your challenges. Many have already discovered the beauty of the summer period, but we find it just as beatyful in the winter period. During the summer you can experience the Midnight Sun from May to July. It is possible to take a hike in the mountain or a sea safari or you can just experience the atmosphere and the hospitality of the north of Norway. During the arctic winter it is possible to see the magic lights of the Aurora from September to April. Lofoten is famous for the seasonal fishing called Lofotfisket and from February to April large amounts of Cod comes in to Lofoten to spawn.
